Truman Allen earned his law degree in 1978 from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. After graduating, Truman was employed as an analyst for the Missouri Senate Research Staff. He has since served the state of Missouri in a number of capacities, including as a First Assistant General Counsel for the Missouri Department of Revenue, a Deputy County Counselor in Jackson County, and an Administrative Law Judge in both the Department of Transportation and Division of Workers' Compensation. Truman's 8 year experience as an Administrative Law Judge in the Division of Workers' Compensation sets him apart from other attorneys. He is an expert in his field, and has given numerous presentations to attorneys for the Missouri Bar. He has also lobbied before legislative committees regarding proposed legislation and has been a speaker at various Missouri Bar events. Truman has been private practice with an emphasis in Workers' Compensation, Social Security Disability, and Personal Injury for fifteen years. His experiences have given him knowledge of the complexities and intricacies of the law that can often be overlooked. Truman has an intimate understanding of the law and knows how to choose and present a winning strategy. Truman has also been an active member of Kids' Chance and is currently the board president of Mid-Missouri Legal Services. He enjoys tinkering with old cars.
